Recommended Experience: Completed Fundamental Delving into the science behind espresso extraction, this class will explain how to assess a shot of espresso based on strength and extraction quality.  

Collaborating as a group, we will brew and taste a variety of coffees, and workshop adjusting our brewing variables to get the tastiest shot of espresso.

This class runs for 2 hours from 4pm to 6pm and you must have completed the Barista Initiation and latte art Initiation/Industry professional to be eligible.

Class components(1pm-3pm):

      • Using scales and timers
      • Examine how brewing variables
      • tasting espresso for proper extraction
